What If: System Shock 2 Re-Release

 Let's face it, System Shock 2 is one of the best PC games of all time. It's also a really expensive game nowadays. Im lucky that my dad had bought this game when it first came out, having allowed me to experience it. Anyways, wouldn't it be such a great thing to see a polished port in HD on the XBLA, PSN and Steam? Or better yet, a full blown physical releawe with reworking of the game with the Bioshock Engine or something. It just seems like it would be a great idea on all fronts for a company to do this especially with Infinte coming sort of around the corner. I'm surprised this hasn't already happened. Thoughts?

 I would LOVE to see an HD remake, as this game is one of the most atmospheric FPS ever made. Anybody who is a fan of Bioshock should experience the "original". That plot twist with Andrew Ryan in Bioshock, won't seem so original **wink**

The sound design alone in System Shock 2 is amazing. The sound of those screaming monkeys AND Shodan's crazed dialog is classic!

 a System Shock Remake or a New game would be Most Welcomed. i loved the whole premise of those games.

 An HD Remake would be ideal, but at this point I'd even settle for the thing simply being gussied up for a GoG release.
