I'm nearing the end of high school and have yet to find a job im truly interested in to pursue when I graduate. So I was wondering what kind of jobs are out there and what exactly you guys do. Now that my circumstances have changed significantly, I think if/when I recover I'd like to take a little more advantage of my mobility and do something more active. I used to play county football at school and I'm still a massive football fan, so I'd like to maybe coach football to kids someday, something like that.

If you have experience and a passion for something already, follow that. My biggest regret is not A) going to school for game design (they just started those curriculums when I was graduating high school), or B) going into web design professionally, since that is what I was the most technically skilled at out of high school, having done it on a hobby level for many years by that point. Now it's too late to really pursue any of that--it's too risky for me now. Take advantage of those early years out of high school, otherwise you might be forced and stuck doing things you hate in order to survive (like Help Desk/Call Center work, like I do now). I do preventative and corrective maintenance as well as installations and upgrades on electrical, electronic, and computer systems to automate the production of stainless steel manufacturing lines. It's fun but taxing, and pay is decent.

They were in a huge cardboard box with ("Video Stuff") wrtten on the side. I opened the box, and felt a little warm and fuzzy inside..haha..
