New User Posts: 11 Group: Members Member #4,724 Joined: Feb 1, 2012	hey jason, the song from rammstein actually goes a little different... ;-) du - du hast - du hast mich...really means " you hate me" but its kind of a wordplay, because hasst is the german verb for hate and hast (with one "s") means "have"...so the next line "du hast mich gefragt" doesnt mean "you hate me, just say it" but rather "you have asked me" ...and then "und ich hab nichts gesagt" means "and i have said nothing". after that it goes: "willst du bis der tod euch scheidet, treu ihr sein für alle tage - nein. nein." which means something like: "will you be faithful till death do us part. - no. no." sry, dont wanna be nitpicky, but i thought i'd clear that up. ;-) btw, germans love the american rammstein-fans. wish you could understand all the lyrics...amazing band.

Nice! I was hoping a German speaking fan would jump in here. My version of the Sehnsucht CD, has extra tracks on it where Rammstein sing the lyrics in English... ...it's not nearly as cool.

Amen to that... Till needs to keep his bellowing, operatic (is that a word? lol..) language natural. I was glad to hear some Rammstein (and later NIN...) talk on the podcast though, and the band you mentioned... whose name escapes me...I'll haveta give it another listen, sounded cool too. Reminded me of KMFDM a wee bit too... I thought you were going to suggest Wumpscut at first, which is where i gravitated toward after my NIN, Rob Zombie, and Rammstein years... haha.. But anyway, nice to hear this episode in its entirety as I missed it as it was recorded. Once I booted up my iphone though I thought to myself (only an hour and 45 minutes for a live show??) but it's allllllllll good
