Really enjoying this episode, great guest!

Am actually going to have to disagree with John on Sonic 2 8-bit, it's a tough game but still very solid, plus the soundtrack is really good. Didn't play it back in the day either; no nostalgia required! Each to their own but it might be worth giving it another go as it doesn't make the best first impression (particularly the initially confusing handgliding controls)

EDIT: Aww not Sonic R too! Though I probably wouldn't defend that as it is a guilty pleasure :P

I personally subscribe to the fact that "Living in the City" is the best track on the Sonic R OST.

I want to just say for the record, that we really, really wanted to ask Gil about the Wii U and other upcoming Nintendo stuff...but he just couldn't talk about it. Maybe after E3 we could have him back on...

Yeah, I was kinda expecting anyone of you to ask about that :D But yes, it is completely understandable.

I highly enjoyed this episode! You could tell that Gil was having a lot of fun during this one and his personality fit in perfectly with you guys. Excellent stuff!

Btw, John - I highly recommend that you check out Gunstar Super Heroes for the GBA (since you said that you've just been discovering the GBA library) if you haven't already. I think you've mentioned sometime in the past on the podcast that you really liked Gunstar Heroes and I think Gunstar Super Heroes is an excellent game and a worthy sequel:

EDIT: I just wanted to add that I just can't get enough of the Super Sonic Racing song from Sonic R... :P It's super 90's cheese but sooo awesome!

So it turns out I'm NOT the only one who listens to the Sonic R soundtrack. Living in the City and Can you Feel the Sunshine all the way! Crank it up!

MJR i loved the rock talk last week but this week i can't stand power glove. From the 5 songs i've heard the drums are pretty much the same, the drummer just does the double the whole time.
I want to unlock my skins, guns, characters, and maps. Not just buy them

Maybe I'm alone on this but I rather play Sonic Drift on the GG than Sonic R.

I also enjoyed Pete's new segment where he ask what recently sold for how much. I want that to be a regular segment on the show.

Thanks, TheGamerz. I try to be, at least. :-)

My first post here! Thanks for having me on guys! The episode will soon be linked to the SRGE website and Facebook pages. So check it out when you get the chance.

And I'd love to come back on, especially after E3. It was a LOT of fun and a long time since I had been on a gaming podcast, which I had sorely missed doing. I'm always up for talking games!!

Thanks to all who listened to this episode and thanks for putting up with my goofy self!
