Gil and Jason are a match made in heaven as they discover they both like the same exact games.

Am actually going to have to disagree with John on Sonic 2 8-bit, it's a tough game but still very solid, plus the soundtrack is really good. Didn't play it back in the day either; no nostalgia required! Each to their own but it might be worth giving it another go as it doesn't make the best first impression (particularly the initially confusing handgliding controls) EDIT: Aww not Sonic R too! You could tell that Gil was having a lot of fun during this one and his personality fit in perfectly with you guys. Excellent stuff! Btw, John - I highly recommend that you check out Gunstar Super Heroes for the GBA (since you said that you've just been discovering the GBA library) if you haven't already. I think you've mentioned sometime in the past on the podcast that you really liked Gunstar Heroes and I think Gunstar Super Heroes is an excellent game and a worthy sequel: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YWmI9jsuB7o EDIT: I just wanted to add that I just can't get enough of the Super Sonic Racing song from Sonic R...
