 It's back again, the grandoise gentlemen's challenge of gargantuan proportion. For the unintiated, what we have here is a lovely slice of toomfoolery, aimed at having a good old giggle, whilst clearing the backloggery of videogames we may have accrued over the years. Be it videogames we haven't even tried, or titles we started, but got buried as soon as a new release had come round How it works: You post right here, in this thread, expressing your interest in participating. In your post, please include a link to all your currently unbeaten videogames. Prefered formats are http://www.backloggery.com and http://docs.google.com - Please refrain from posting the list of all your games directly into this thread, as it will bog us right down! Once the deadline for applicants has been reached, I will go through and match you up with a partner. This may be random, or I could push my own evil agenda as reasoning behind certain pairings. Once you've been paired up, go through your partners backloggery, and pick a game for them to complete within the Gent's Challenge Time Limit. They will go through your backloggery and pick a title for you to finish. You'll need to play, and beat your chosen game within the allocated timeframe, or be condemned as a Rapscallious Rascal forever moar. Rules / Details: In your initial post, detail any platforms, or specific titles you cannot play. If you do not specify, and your partner picks something you don't like, you cannot roll mulligan and ask them to pick a new title. If you have 'Barbie's Dressup Pony Superstar' in your list, it's fair game for a'picking. Being an asshole is actively encouraged. Feel free to pick a notoriously difficult title for your partner. It makes it even more fun! Feel free to be specific - If you believe that the player needs to grab a certain achievement, or Trophy to experience the most the game has to offer - Feel free to state this in your choice. However, please be realistic. Unattainable requests are likely to be struck from the record! This is in the name of fun, so while proof of completion is *required* - it's encouraged. If you can take a quick picture of the end credits rolling, you'll gain even MORE GentPoints™ Bonus GentPoints™ will be given out for exceptional Gentlemens. Hardest Game, Fastest Completion, Most Socialable Gent (Twitter, Facebook), that kinda thing. Minimum of 10 games on your list please. If you're struggling to fill out a list, find some F2P titles you'd wanna try! No maximum of titles on your list however! Feedback is really encouraged. It's YOUR challenge. If you don't like the sound of any of these specifics, let me know! Finally, I'm thinking of making this a short and sweet Challenge. How does a single calendar month sound for the total playtime? Purely an example. I'm not one to shy away from a challenge. As for you, your list doesn't have to reflect your complete collection. Just an assortment of titles you havent finished yet. |

I thewhitepenny shall participate this year! I work many hours each week so this will be a true challenge for me... especially since over half of my uncompleted games are RPGs (Dohhh!!) I'll do what I can my friends as I plan on achieving the status of Gentleman! No rascally rascals here! So I am back with a vengeance! My goal for 2012 is beating my entire backlog of games, I am dead serious. Over the last 3 months I knocked down 25+ games which is easy to do with 4-6 hours gaming each day. In any case I am going for a double challenge! Whoever gets paired up with me can pick two games, one handheld and one console. I only have my lists offline so apologies for this. The banner reminded me of one of my previous avatars that I used around here, it also reminded me of my Glottis avatar as well (sort of).  Looking like a gent is timelessly fashionable, I guess that's the appeal.
