I'm probably buying a new handheld in the coming weeks and I'm not quite sure which to get. I'm leaning more towards the Vita. What are your opinions? |

Do research on the games released or to be released. It all comes down to preference, you can't go wrong with either. |

I say go with the 3ds. You have the huge library of ds games first of all, and the games coming out for the 3ds have been getting better and better, with many sites such as amazon offering some of the "older" ones for under 20 dollars already. You won't find games like professor layton and ace attorney anywhere else. |

Yeah I agree with MidiPour you honestly can't go wrong with either of them but I personally like the Vita more and you should get one if you have a PS3 but its totally up to you. |

I dont do much handheld gaming, but i think once the price comes down a bit i'd personally prefer the PS Vita. I love the look of that big screen and i think it has a lot of potential. Not to mention it has the 2 anologue sticks...which you'd think would be quite crucial on a modern gaming platform. I dont fancy having to buy an attachment just to have 2 sticks.

Yeah that is what I'm probably going to do wait a little for a price drop and better library. |

Well, the 3DS has the better games right now and you can count on the Nintendo Exclusives. If the psp is any indication it will take time for the Vita to start getting some good rpgs stateside which is what I am waiting for. Really depends on your taste in games and what you want out of a handheld. |

Honestly, I'm a HUUUUGE 3DS fan, but Vita needs all the help it can get right now. If you like the game selection now, just go for it. If everyone "waits" for Vita, there's not going to be anything left to wait for. Early adopters basically single handedly saved the 3DS. I see Vita in a similar situation. |

Having bought both day 1 I can honestly say I have spent more tome with my vita than the 3ds. But both systems are good, and until Sony works on building up the PSP dl log on psn and adds support for psone games the 3ds is a better value. Unless they do a redesign this year to add the second analog pad. |

Now that PSO2 was announced for the Vita, I'd hands down buy the Vita. That's the only game you'd ever need, you'll probably spend 1000 hours on that one game. xD |
