While graphically inferior to the arcade version, Cadash for the TG still looks pretty good and can be lots of fun. All four classes are available, unlike in the Genesis version. There is no punishing time limit like in the arcade, so if you have a day to spare, and no power outages, you can really build up your character before taking on the bosses. Yes, a hardcore style approach is possible. I personally love the colors of the first area, as those 16-bit blues, greens and purples have a gem-like quality to them.

And it's just like Working Designs to put in a sort of nerdy reference near the end, but I won't tell you what it is. ;)

Bill & Ted? No way!

I've never played Cadash, but it looks cool. Gotta miss the days when arcade games could be a little more complicated than just fighting and racing games.

Didn't the Happy Console Gamer just get the arcade board and marquee for Christmas?

Just saw the Yo Bro! review. Thank goodness he's getting a real stinker out of the way!

I was actually looking forward to seeing his review of Yo Bro. I knew it would be bad, but I was mostly curious about the soundtrack because I'm a huge Beach Boys fan. I'm more curious about the sequel, Camp California, which also won't be good, but it was on CD, so the music should be better.

...BTW, why didn't you start a new thread? Cadash and Yo Bro don't seem to have much in common.

Less threads, less clutter? I don't know. I guess the game just didn't deserve it's own section.
