The Sega game Gear is more or less a portable Master System so the first thing I would recommend would be the Master System Converter for the Game Gear. This unit will allow you to play Master System games on the Game Gear opening up the amount of games available to you. You can snag one of these off eBay for around $15.00 US. here is a link to one........ http://www.ebay.com/itm/MASTER-SYSTEM-CONVERTER-PLAY-SEGA-MASTER-SYSTEM-GAMES-YOUR-GAME-GEAR-CONSOLE-/160652307800?pt=Video_Games_Accessories&hash=item25679fad58 SMS Games..... Psychic World Master of Darkness Wonder Boy III: The Dragon's Trap |

What do you like to play? Though the library isnt as extensive as the nes/gameboy there are still quite a few titles available in most genre's. Majin is right-on about the converter, sega were really good when it came to thier backwards compatibility. Here are some of my recommendations...other than the ones majin said. (damn you for saying MoD and wonder boy III!) Game Gear Shinobi is one of the best shinobi games and it's never talked about. It has great music, its really fun, and has a megaman style weapon selection when you defeat bosses. Game Gear Shinoni 2 is just as good as the first, not much more i can say. Ax battler is a great little adventure "RPG". looks a bit like a Dragon Warrior game with side on battles and dungeon platforming. Its a lot of fun but can be hard as hell! Any of the Mickey Mouse illusion games or Donald Duck games. A lot of people say the Disney/Capcom games were the best...truth is that the Disney/Sega games were! |

Revenge of Drancon (aka Wonder Boy), Vampire: Master of Darkness, Prince of Persia, Sonics 1 & 2, Predator 2, Columns, Ninja Gaiden, Mega Man (it's expensive though), just to name a few.
