Hi everyone, I've been thinking about this series quite a bit recently, but I've never played the games. I was wondering what you guys think the chances are of HD remakes? I had never played Ico or Shadow of the Colossus and probably never would have if it wasn't for the HD Collection, but if the chances of these games being remastered aren't likely, I don't think I'll ever end up playing them. Another question that's easy for any fan to answer: what's the chronological order for the series? Do I have to start with Kingdom Hearts 1 on PS2? Or were one of the portable games prequels so I don't have to wait for a possible HD remake to try out the series? Thanks! Nick |

IMHO I don't believe they are ever going to release an HD collection of 1 and 2 as for the chronlogical order...I have no idea I only played 1 and 2 |

I second this statement. Here's a good equation if you buy one: Get a PS2 = even more excellent games to play (assuming that you're using a PS3 Slim.) |

I would say the chance of a KH1/2 HD remake is pretty feasible. Some of the best selling games on the PS2. Perhaps they throw in a remake of Birth By Sleep, easily the best KH non-numbered game. (think of it as KH0). I would argue buy the games cheap with a PS2. You can get a lot of awesome RPGs with it. |
