Listening right now and just wanted to say. Halo 2 Limited Edition is the oldest steel bookcase game that I have. They don't really bother me tho. Then again, neither do greatest hits versions of games. I just cant justify paying a premium for original versions if the only difference is packaging.

Excellent episode as always, and it was great hearing Jordan on there. No matter how many times I hear these orgy clips, they never cease to crack me up, especially when they are played on the podcast and everyone is enjoying them. |

By complete coincidence I started listening to the AGS podcast the night before this came out because I was bored and out of my regular ones. I'm not sure if I'm going to be a regular listener but it's definitely worth checking out. |

Right there with Rob, having a partner who games really is the best. When I met my fiancée, I think it was on our third date I went back to her halls/dorm and noticed she had a 360 set up, and she asked if I wanted to play some Left 4 Dead with her. I knew right then that she was the girl for me. Being able to share my hobby with someone else who really understands and loves it as much as I do, and have that person be my best friend and partner? Nothing like it. Lucky doesn't even describe it! |

Enjoyable listen as is the case usually:D A couple things I wanted to mention: The bit about Mega Man made me blitz through MM2 and MM3 Thursday night, which kept me from writing and I didn't fall asleep until 2AM, which made my Friday super sleepy. As for Pete finally playing some of The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky, IT'S ABOUT DAMN TIME:p Greg and I have only been 'harping' on you to play it for a while now. Kidding aside, I'm glad you actually started it up. Though it's a long game, you can definitely cut the time down by not doing all of the Guild's missions and what not. Some of them are pretty nice to add even more depth to the characters, while some of them are simply silly. Trails in the Sky is its own trilogy. There was another trilogy with the The Legend of Heroes bit in the title, but they are not connected, if memory serves me correctly. There were also two games before that called Dragon Slayer (I & II): The Legend of Heroes, which have no relation to the others as well. After the Trails in the Sky Trilogy, The Legend of Heroes: Zero no Kiseki and Ao no Kiseki were released, which are sequels, but deal with a new set of main characters and locations, but same world and only a little bit of time later. However, questions and problems left unanswered in the Trails in the Sky Trilogy are answered and resolved in these games. (I haven't gotten around to Ao yet, but Zero does cover some of the mysteries.) The game coming out on the Vita is a Full Voice version of Zero no Kiseki, which should be sexy:D |

Jordan was a complete natural and RobMan was great as always. One of the best podcasts for sure. Props go to Jordan this episode though for being a great guest that completely went with the flow of the podcast and fit in perfectly. He could honestly be a host and I think that is the first time I have said that. Johnny if you are reading this you better come back with a bang to show us why you are the real deal and this podcast needs you. Can the real HCG please stand up ;)!? |

Robman, that sounds like an awesome little cubby. I think the thing with kids these days is that the CAN'T do a lot of the things kids used to do. For example, my dad used to go to a construction site at night and use the bulldozer to fill holes. The contstruction men knew it, but they said nothing about it because my dad was basically doing their work for them. That kind of stuff would never fly these days. Way more laws and regulations and parents are extremely protective. I love all these "in the old days" episodes. lol, I love durring the OKS clip all you can hear is Robman squeeling in the background. The mancave is sealed up again, eh? That sucks man. About 90% of my stuff is in boxes as well, and thousands of miles away. I feel for ya. Pete, if you are a fan of minor Mario characters, you should pick up Mario Baseball on the Gamecube. Not the best game but lots of minor characters like Montey Mole, Piantas, and more. Now to get back to finishing this episode... |
