As you can probably tell from my name(Rugal is a boss character from the series for those who don't know), I am a HUGE King of Fighters fan. It's team system really changed the face of fighting games as we know it with games like Marvel Vs. Capcom even adapting to this type of system later down the line. I loved it for the characters and story, it had such an interesting story for an early fighter and it also has lots of charismatic and very expressive characters with lots of swag'. So SNK and Atlus is finally bringing the thirteenth game to the states in october and I am psyched! Finally we can play a proper next gen KoF game, and it looks like it will make up for the fail that was KoFXII. Also they are adding Billy Kane, though I am kinda hoping that Yamazaki will follow since they were on the same team.

 I have played the game for a few hours at GamesCom 2011 and it was a spectacular game. Really a great improvement over the KOF XII release! Definitely a worthy purchase for those looking for a new SNK experience!

Let's hope the online is solid!

 I preordered mine as soon as I could for the free soundtrack. I am a big KOF guy too. This is gonna blow away 12 and make up for their mistakes on that game.

 November 22. I have mine pre-ordered.....and I don't even own a 360 yet.

This is what King of Fighters should be; high-def, ultra smooth animation, sick backdrops, multitude of characters, everything looks great! Looking forward to it.

 For sure. I've loved SNK and KOF since KOF 94. The hand drawn-animation of KOF 13 is what makes it for me.
