What are your thoughts on the Call of Duty series? Do you feel it's coming to an end, or it's just gonna keep going? This may sound a little desperate (haha) but if you have some time to kill, I made a video discussing why I feel the series needs to end unless something about it is changed. MW3 is going to be the same as MW2 and MW2 was the same as MW1. Every game since 2007 has been the same, and I don't think I'm the only one who feels a new engine for the game needs to be made. With the ever growing interest in retro gaming due to young adults finally having the finances to recapture their childhood, do you guys think there could ever be a newly developed console that focuses strictly on retro style games? This could be 8 or 16 bit games. (not re-releases but rather brand new games) I have always thought this could be a brilliant idea seeing as you are capturing a market that is untouched (excluding re-releases on Nintendo's E-shop and sony's PSN). Development costs would be much lower than what has to be put in to a PS3 or 360 game. Advertising costs could be low now due to word of mouth recommendations by other gamers (podcasts, youtube, facebook) Charge 30-40 dollars per game (I'd be more than happy paying that) |
