It seems like it was just yesterday, but here we are 1 year later on the All Gen Gamers podcast! What better way to celebrate than to bring on the very first guest we had on the show from episode 1, Jimmy "lotsofgames". We reminisce about the earlier days of the show, John and Jason tell their recent story from a Swap Meet, and we even have a special guest appearance by RobMan to share his thoughts on the whole Mega Man Legends 3 got canceled news, and so much more...and of course thank you so much to all of our listeners, new and old we really appreciate your support for the show over the last year, thanks a ton!

Congratulations on the 1 year anniversary. While I am not one of those people who have listened since the beginning (episode 14), I very much enjoy my weekly dose of AGG and the show is completely different now to what it was like in the early episodes and it is for the better. Here's to another grand year with Pete, John, Johhny & Jason and various guests!

Happy anniversary guys. I have to say, I can totally understand where Robman is coming from.

I was the biggest Sierra On-Line fan growing up and was devastated when they stopped making adventure games. However, it didn't hurt as much compared to seeing Sierra's Leisure Suit Larry get two more games without the input from the game's creator, Al Lowe. The two games, Manga Cum Laude and Box Office Bust, were truly forgettable and lame and it would have been better if they never had made another Larry game again.

Mega Man without Inafune would suck.

I've seen the majority of the episode and it was another fantastic one this week,I am really enjoying it! It was great hearing you all reminisce on the past for the show.

I am super excited for another Trivia Battle,as it was easily one of my favorite episodes the first time and I'd love to see the kind of questions the other fans have found!

Congratulations on 1 year anniversary. Thanks for the countless hours of entertainment that this podcast has provided. I've been listening since episode 1 and I'm looking forward to a new episode every week. Your podcast has introduced me to a lot of different games and people that I had never heard of before.

The trivia battle between AllGenGamers and Operation Killscreen is going to be epic. Hopefully it happens some day...

Here's to another year! Cheers! :)
I apologize in advance for any bad english.

I think when Inafune left Capcom, that was the final straw. They had already lost most of their top creators and didn't even have the smarts to keep Clover around. It's a company run by suits, not creatives. I almost feel like Inafune knew they would cancel MML3. And now we know what he had to deal with when he was managing the company.

Nintendo of America feels the same way these days. Not releasing so many key titles, like Last Story, Xenoblade, etc.. What are they thinking?

Thanks for a great year of podcast guys, I've enjoyed every episode.

I feel for Robman and all the Legends fans, I had no idea about the whole back-story with the games development! The fans involved have every right to be pissed. I felt the same bitterness over the cancellation of the Dreamcast. Yeah, it sucks. (right Mr. Technosqeek? lol)

I'm still a gamer, but what I think most "old schoolers" will attest to; the games industry doesn't have that same spark or magic of the 90's or late 80's. The hardcore guys like us really are a sub-market. It's just going to be harder to find those games that capture what we've grown to expect from the "golden days". Sadly, It's moving towards the Hollywood model of making movies.

Luckily for us, we've got you, Johnny, Gamester, and all the other retro-guys to remember all those games that put companies like Capcom and Nintendo on the map!

^I'd argue that we're seeing much more variety now than before. Hardcore games can still be found, but the videogame industry has definitely plunged into Hollywood production. And Capcom, with all their buried franchises, will be missed.

Why didn't Capcom lend Breath of Fire to another developer faithful to what made jrpgs great in the first place? :(

Can't believe it's already a year, I always look forward to Thurs morning so I can listen to a new episode! Good job guys!

BTW When Rob Man came onto the podcast I was going to sleep listening to the podcast, when Mini-man opened a door and then said "hello" to him I thought that was going on my room (and I don't have kids yet!) it was like a scene from a horror film where I thought some kind of creepy ghost boy was coming into the room!

Nice to hear that at least Johnny is being level headed about Capcom and saying he will remain a fan and supporter because he loves Capcom. Which is where I stand. They have made wonderful games for 25 years and they have made many great games just this generation. The people calling themselves 'Ex-Capcom' fans and boycotting is just obsurd......so again Kudos to Johnny.

I'll be in nostalgia for this shit.
