Just saw the review for Military Madness! Great game! (Except when the computer obviously cheats. Trust me, this is not a joke! Play and see for yourself!) This was the first tactics game I ever played, and I still prefer it over the Battle Isle series. Loved the sequel on Super CD : Neo Nectaris. Bought it when it was new. Couldn't sleep a wink for two days in expectation of its arrival in the mail. There's also one for Windows, PSX, Gameboy (it's crap), and an old DOS one with new surprises! True story: I was replaying a stage on Neo Nectaris that I kept losing at. In Military Madness/Nectaris, once you start losing, you're pretty much done for. However, by some miracle, I turned the tide of battle after an intense two hour struggle. Suddenly, I had the strangest feeling that the power was going to go out before I could finish the stage and save. Sure enough, within minutes, the power went out. Damn. >:/ This also happened while playing Langlisser: Hikari no Matsuei (A Super CD remake of the old Genesis title, Warsong), but it was a brown out, and my Dup somehow retained juuust enough energy to not lose it's place. Wow! EDIT: TIPS: Whether on the attack or on the defense, adjacent friendly units will add to your power. The best way to defeat an enemy is to surround it, meaning have at least one of your units next to it, then another almost or totally on the opposite side. Your attack power will increase dramatically. Edited by Naniyue, Apr 30 2011, 09:49 PM.

Yeah, awesome review as always. Don't forget they also remade it recently for XBOX Live Arcade. Might want to check it out if you haven't already.

I usually look for Chris's reviews on what games to pick up next. Military madness does look good. I love strategy games

Ha ha! Wasn't expecting a review of this game. Coryoon is one of the few shmups I've been able to beat fair and square. Give it a go!
