I picked Fire Emblem GBA Limited Collectors Edition in a huge holographic case off a guy for $10.00! It comes with a sweet figure and 4 posters. The box itself I am currently using for a display piece! I think that is my best find ever!

I just went to a yard sale and picked up a like-new Virtual Boy complete, no box, but it had the foam eyepiece, stand, and controller with four games:
Mario Tennis
Japanese Tetris
Japanese Virtual Golf
Red Alarm

And all of this was only $10!!!!

Nice Virtual Boy deal! I got one w/ Mario Tennis a while back for $13 but no stand, which is really a shame.

I picked up Chrono Trigger and a working (but yellow) SNES for $15 and then sold the SNES to a game store for about $30 store credit.

Also found a game called EVO for the SNES for cheap, can't remember the exact price. Less than $5 for sure. Turns out it's worth a lot more, even just the loose cart.

Loose Super Cobra, a stand-alone, tabletop game from Entex from garage sale for $2.
Sealed Joshua: The Battle of Jericho and Sealed Exodus: Journey to the Promised Land for Sega Genesis from second hand store for $2 each.
Complete unlicensed Pesterminator for NES (probably not that rare?) from Value Village for $5.
I also have quite a few sealed PC games (from pre 2000 era), but nobody cares about obscure/rare PC games, I got donated tons of these for free from knowing somebody at a computer store.
40 sealed Wii/PS3/Xbox 360/DS games for $40 at local Future Shop. They really wanted to get rid of stock I guess.

Probably some other stuff, will have to wait till I have my full collection online.

The best one I got off hand is a copy for Xenogears (boxed, but without manual), Crash Banditcoot, Kingdom Hearts, and Sypro 3 for about ten dollars.

Been on a LONG dry streak finding any games for a few months but in the last 2 weeks I've found some nice gems. Just when I reached the point where I considered to stop looking for awhile I found Donkey Kong and almost freaked out right there.

Anyway here's what I got:
--Donkey Kong was $3. I found it in a Goodwill toy section when I was up north for Memorial Day. It looked like some kids got to it before I did and tore the top off but finding that boxed with all the instructions and battery pack I thought was amazing! I got this tabletop for christmas when I was 5 (yeah i'm old) and it's nice to have a complete one with MUCH less miles on it.

--The Pokemon gameboy I got earlier today for $10. It came with the yellow Pokemon game but has some marker on it saying "Pokemon Sucks" but I can get that out. Kind of humorous I thought, like the kid got it as a gift but he didn't like Pokemon.

--The 3 Zelda games I got for 99cents each at a garage sale. Nothing spectacular but I didn't have them and at that price I had zero chance of passing it up.

--Mega Man Legends 2 I got at a pawn shop that is usually priced to Amazon/Ebay But I got it for $2. I knew it was worth more than that but didn't realize it's actual price until I got home. Everything is in great shape and been playing it abit. It's very different for a Mega Man game but pretty good so far (other than the directional controls).

Anyway, my advice is to just keep looking! Sure you may have some long streaks without finding anything but it's that much more enjoyable when you do find a gem.

My friend Curtis found a copy of Little Samson for NES with the box but no manual at his neighbor's garage sale for $8. It wasn't an "amazing" find, but still a really good deal, I mean I've never found something that good for so cheap.

I recently just found a Nintendo 64, and about 10 games (Super Mario 64, Goldeneye 007, Pokemon Snap, etc.) for $10. Nothing spectacular, but not too bad either.

I forgot about this thread! A couple weekends ago I grabbed about 40 games for 40 dollars. Mostly Gamecube/Xbox/PC stuff, but included some top notch stuff including a ton of collectors editions.

I found M.U.S.H.A. for the Sega Genesis mixed into a large lot of games on eBay for about $30 shipped. The seller didn't list the titles included in the auction, so I guess nobody saw the rare cart in the distant corner of the photo xD!

Convinced my friend to sell me around 15 gamecube games with a memory card for 20 dollars. Then I took the good games out (Mario Party 4, 5, Mario Power Tennis, Paper Mario TYD, and Wario Land) and sold the rest at a local gamestore. Got 30 dollars for them, then purchased Star Fox Adventures and Soul Calibur II. Still got 11 dollars afterwards in store credit. Then the other day I browsed swagbucks.com and found diddy kong racing so i ordered that for free. Then I received it the other day and it worked great. Building up my nintendo game collection again, and having a blast doing it.
