I posted a video on youtube to ballinnick1982, and the RPGs that I mention to him are Ogre Battle, Jade Cocoon, Parasite Eve and Guardians Crusade. Some other ones that I didnt mention are Vandal Hearts and King's Field. The last two may be iffy, but I like them. |

Vandal Hearts was great. First game I bought off of Ebay. I dont think anyone has mentioned Xenogears yet? Tons of people I know claim it as the best RPG they have played on PS1. I wouldnt go that far, but its ... very very good. Give it a shot if you can find one. The Arc the Lad collection was really good I thought. Cool box too. Brigadine was really interesting and different at the time. Don't forget you can get a copy of Diablo for PS1. Not EXACTLY an RPG... but close enough for me. Kinda slow paced on PS1 though. Dragon Warrior VII.... I really enjoyed it. If I had it still, Id probally be playing it now heh. Front Mission 3 if you either like the whole Mech thing ... or if you enjoy games like Final Fantasy Tactics and Vandal Hearts. Ogre Battle of course... but I recommend it on SNES over PS1 by a long shot. Even though its been mentioned alot, I can't hit "add reply" till I mention it too. Suikoden 1 and 2. My favorite RPG series of all time. 4 was very medicore imo but all the rest, including suikoden tactics... I went ga-ga over. |

Final fantasy VII, VIII and IX. I've played VII and VIII and watched when my brother played IX. They're great RPG's! Also The Legend of Dragoon, but I'm not very sure about the game, 'cause I've just watched the gameplay videos and the game looks pretty cool in them! |
