Hey guys, just a quick thank you to everyone who has joined and posted on the forums, we have hit 3,000 members! Yes I know we don't nearly have 3,000 ACTIVE members, but it still shows that that many people have taken the time to register and browse the forums at some point. We may not have hundreds of regular users, but people who do join usually post at least a few times, which is great because that way conversations are not limited to the same people over and over. Plus, our community is a manageable size and is not too over crowded. It's crazy to think that in just under 2 years I have created a great community here on these forums for people from YouTube to meet and chat. Before YouTube I tried many many times to create my own websites and forums to try and establish a place I could call my own, and while they were all fun to manage, they never really took off. Just wanted to thank all of you who have been here since the start of the forums, new members, people who joined for the AllGenGamers forum, or the Gaming community forums (Especially the HCG forum), and of course my excellent moderation team which I can count on to keep things in order when I can't be on here all day. Congratulations on the milestone, and the best part of all is the quality of the members and the posts around here. There are plenty of forums with this many members that just don't have the overall quality you see on these boards. |

Yeah, member 3000 was a spammer who posted two threads about downloading games illegally. Needless to say, I trashed his posts and immediately banned him from the forum. We get on average one or two spammers a week, but they don't last very long

Wow, the forum sure has come a long way! We also just passed 85,000 posts. It's hard to believe that the forum will be turning 2 years old in January! |
