Also, it would be great if you could post what time/day of the week are your best for being on the Chat. Then we could have a start time for the party (you don't have to come after the start time, it would just be a general guideline for when most people are online). My best time would be Friday, Saturday, or Sunday at around 8-12 EST |

I'm all for the idea! Though to be honest, I don't have much of a schedule. So, if you guys tell me a time that's good for you, I will do my best to show up, and hope no plans come up because I never know when anything comes up, though I'm free most of the time. Sounds like a great idea to me, I need to get on the chat more often!

I voted Yes. I'm typically not active in the chat here, but if it was scheduled out so that a ton of people would come that would be great... but it could be hectic. Maybe a buddy system of not saying too much, as to give others a chance to talk and to avoid insanity. Like if the chat is overflowing with messages we can take it upon ourself to take a brake from typing things. I'd like to see it every week, maybe like every Fri/Sat/Sun at a regular time, those seem to be the easiest days for people to commit to with school and work and such. for anyone who doesnt know the chat has been switched to xat style rather than the justin.tv style which i prefer. You can tell when new people come in and when people say something. The best thing is you can actually tell who is all in the room at the current time. Usually i dont make times to get on just when i get off work. When petes original chat was made in 09 people would just get on when they could usually in the evenings or afternoons and it worked fairly well. |

Okay. I think that it should be Friday or Saturday (Sunday in the States could be 1:00 PM Monday in Japan), because the other days of the week could be interfering with work/school, and although "Chatting" during work makes for good procrastination, I don't want to get you guys fired/suspended just for being on the chat. What are your guys' timezones? I think that it should start at about 7-8 PM on the most popular timezone, because I'm pretty sure that would be the best time for the average person. |

The only problem would be if there was someone from the UK that wanted to join Chat Night, as 10:00 PM EST would be 3:00 AM for them.  Unless if you Brits are fine with being awake at 3:00 AM.  Another option would be that you could join in the first two or three hours and then just leave when it gets too late. As always, I'm open to suggestions!

I work on the weekends, but my times change so I am sure I would be able to make it some nights. Also when I am not playing starcraft 2 I will be in the chat room on tuesdays and thursdays from 11:30am est - 1:30pm est |

I like the idea and I voted "Yes" however 8:00pm EST (GMT 1:00am) is very unsociable hours for anyone living in Europe, so I doubt I'll be able to make it... |

Gah. Why is it that when I ask if a certain time is all right with everyone, no one says anything, but as soon as I confirm the time, it's suddenly a horrible time for everyone? If not that many people show up tonight, I'll adjust the time for next week. (note: I'm not directly talking to you...I'm talking to everyone from Europe who can't make it due to it being 1-2 am) |

There was a pretty good turnout, but there were a lot of people I didn't recognize with generic names. The best chat though was an hour before the Chat, so I may alter the chat time to about 6:00 PM EST. Would that be better or worse for everyone? |
