Hey Jason i sent you a message a while back about me listening to your podcast and being a British Royal Marine Commando currently serving in afghan. I have a question for the podcast. I while back one of my unit members said i should ask a question for the podcast, but i never got round to it. Untill just a few weeks ago he was killed by a IED hidden by one of the taliban and i just rememberd what he said about asking a question, and therefor a have come up with one. Do you think that modern day based war games show off the realism of war meaning do you think they are true to what happens and are they realistic. Thanks a lot for reading my message and thanks again if you answer it on the Podcast. Love the podcast keep up the good work. |

Hey guys, love the podcast, keep up the good work! I've recently started playing mario 64 on the virtual console as I was exclusively PC gaming during the 32/64 bit era and didn't get a chance to play it at the time, and I'm loving it! Hey guys! Since discovering the possibilities of Reproduction SNES carts through Pete's recent Live Streaming, I was wondering if there's any tips that all of you can give on going about purchasing these gems. I wasn't even aware that there are people actually making old cartridge-based games for alot of them that were never released in the USA, and I'm now dying to try to pick some of these amazing games up! What's a good price to pay for these, how much is it actually costing the people that make them, some really great (safe), sites to purchase them from, do you usually get them boxed with manuals? These are all examples of how great a topic this could be, and how useful it would be for many people. Thanks for the consideration my friends! P.S. Question to everyone: How much do you believe music can make or break a game? Like, if some of your favorite games of all time had a different soundtrack do you think you would enjoy it as much based on the merits of story, controls, art style, etc.? ( For me if skyrim had a techno soundtrack it would have a much different feel.) Thanks for the amazing podcast, and content AGG crew! |

Hi guys, I've only recently gotten into the world of retro gaming (or back into "gaming" in general), but since coming to the hobby, one of my favourite activities has been the "blind buy", where I go to the store and buy a game strictly based on its name rather than youtube footage or word of mouth... I know you guys have amassed a wealth of knowledge, so few games are truly unknown to you these days, but I'd like to know if you've ever struck gold with a "blind buy". As an aside, I haven't been particularly lucky with these so far, but I'm still holding out for a true epiphany. Right now, the best I've done is probably Miracle Warriors on the Sega Master System or Demon Sword on the NES. |

I actually have a question for all 4 of you guys because i find something in common with each of you. Johnny Millenium - Shenmue being my favorite game series of all time, seriously it was (a quote from you) religious experience for me when i got shenmue on christmas morning not knowing what the fuck it even was. Which of the two games is your favorite, and what were your favorite parts of each game. Pete - Have you ever played Sonic Chaos for the Gamegear, and what were your thoughts on it? I have fond memories of playing it in the car back in the day, and remember it being very easy to beat. Pete - What would you classify as your absolute Favorite Horror movie top to bottom everything in the movie was amazing. Mine would have to be John Carpenters "The Thing" I saw it at a much younger age with my dad, and just remember being delightfully terrified, and have seen the movie over 100 times now at 25 years old. John Gamester - what would be your favorite Star Wars movie and why? Mine would have to be Return of the Jedi mainly because it has a combination of everything to make it great, the love story, the better effects, and you have 3 different amazing battles going on at the same time, one in space, one in the forrest, and one on the death star between Luke and Vader. Jason - What are the specs on the computer that you use for gaming? My Girlfriend recently bought me a gaming laptop that is quite amazing, it has a intel i7 2670qm (8 Cores) 16 gigs of DDR3 1600mghz Ram, Nvidia Geforce gtx 560m 1.5 gig DDR5, and a solid state hard drive. But if you guys are going to want 1 question and only for gaming.... What System, and 1 game would you have with you if you were stranded on a deserted island for the rest of your life, and why. Thanks guys, HUGE fan of the show, and each individual channel, i have listened to every episode, and some multiple times. and it is my dream to one day be on the podcast as a guest because i have sooooooo much i would like to talk to you guys about. -Cheers |

Hey AGG crew! As gamers, we all face the same problem: so many games, so little time. What games have you just completely missed? I'm not talking about games you outright don't want to play; I want to know about the games you'd like to play and just never have. What are your gaming blind spots? Myself? I've never played a Resident Evil game. I know--isnt't that weird? I'd really like to play the whole series, but the games have just completely passed me by. What about you guys? |

I FIND COLLECTING GAMES A LITTLE BIT OF A PROBLEM NOW AND DAYS, BECAUSE I CAN'T SEE SPENDING $40 ON A 3DS GAME AND AFTER TAX 48. WHEN THE THEY USED TO BE $30. What do you think is the worst publishers at the moment? Capcom (On disc dlc) Activision ( COD + Overpriced dlc) or Ea games (ORigins , online passes , on disc dlc, shitty ass games) For me , its.a toss beteween Crapcom and Ea failed games Btw keep the good work guys! |
