Hey Pete, I was wondering if it would be possible to start a sticky thread in one of the forums(and I don't know where it should go) for Live streams. That way when someone is doing a live stream worth mentioning, they could post the link in the sticky. It would help get traffic to the streams for guys/gals without as many subs as well as the seasoned youtubers. I would have started one and requested it become a sticky, but I'm not sure what category it would fall under. People could also use this to link streams of gamers that don't frequent the forums, and might even bring more traffic here. Just a thought, but I think with the forums growing now that you've made partner, it could be an easy step to get the entire community recognition, and make for some fun streams. Sounds fine, I will move this over into the General YouTube forum, I will sticky it and it will stay stickied as long as people use it. Yeah I guess it can be kinda hard to get attention to a live stream without some form of communication going on... |

This is a great idea eskilliam...most people miss live streams because they have no idea when they are occurring. You definitely should have had more people watching your stream last night and having a thread here should help tons with passing along info as to when live streams are happening. I was lucky with timing to just happen to check youtube out last night as you were going live or I would have missed your stream. |

Did you forget to use an Emoticon to convey that you are joking here?? Or is this schtick?? How in the world do you think bringing the gaming community together and giving each other more exposure is a bad idea?? Pete's streams have tons of people in them and it is never 'overloaded'...and how would a stream being overloaded be bad?? Will you answer these questions with well thought out responses or are you going to type a three word sentence? Will questions like these 'overload' you? |

I am admittedly no expert on live streams, but having lots of people attend is a good thing, right? Pete's live broadcast last summer when he hit 10,000 subscribers had a steady stream of 1,000 people over the entire time, and it never seemed overloaded. If it suffered from lag, it was due to connection problems rather than the number of people on there. This is a good idea. What's the point of doing a live steam if only a few users show up? |

I sure was overloaded with questions however lol! Thats also why I need to plan differently if I do another live stream....theres no way I can keep up with the questions this time around when I could barely do it when I had 1,000 people watching. Tell you the truth I sometimes like it more when i do my orivate ones that have below 100 viewers, a lot easier to manage. |

Hey everyone! First stream so I'm sorry if it sucks. This one won't be on for long... It is simply a test one. http://www.blogtv.com/People/xbox360collections Update: First stream wen't well, I got a few watchers so that made it even more worth while lol. I do aim to do more, I might do one where I play GTA IV for a couple of hours and then another one playing some RPG's. But yeah, I really enjoyed it

It's okay Pete I did it around 9pm GMT, for me Gamester81 did his stream at around 7-8am, so mine was about 13 hours later  I'll probably record future streams so that people can watch them later on though.

Testing out some video capture streaming with FF13 over at blogtv. ***Warning, I'm on chapter 8, so there may and probably will be spoilers*** Only planning on streaming for about 30 minutes to an hour just to test it out streaming from my laptop to see how it handles the footage.
