Not because it's not a good console, but because I already own a PSP + some fair amount of UMDs. Instead I will use my money to build up a PSP collection. At the price I can get for a used game around here, the money I would pay for the DS would allow me to add atleast 20 used titles to the PSP collection. My question is about loose games (UMDs without the original case and booklet). Are they worth it? If it's a game that I want in my collection, should I just go for it, or just wait until I find one that has a case too? Where I live we have no ebay, only some similar site, where PSP games aren't that many to choose from. So there is a chance that I can find a game as UMD only, and never see it again after the bidding is over. I'm not starting a collection for profit, so the case is only important for storage, which brings me to the second part of this monologue : If any of you have UMD only games, how do you store them? I know there are those umd case thingies, but I don't really like them. I want to be able to browse through the games at a glance, so I want them exposed, but protected. Hope I'm making sense with this. Thanks for any reply

When you want to show someone your collection, do you want them to see all the cases lined up? Would you mind just showing them your umds? I'd say if it's an ultra rare game(psp doesn't have many) then just go for the umd if you have to, and wait for a case(with cover art) if you can. The most rare psp game is probably syphon filter logan's shadow. I personally have to have cover art to warrent a purchase. I don't mind not having the manuel. As for storage for loose umds, just find plastic psp cases that the games are sold in. If you ever sell a psp game, try to keep the case. Ask friends if they have any spares. I have 2 empty psp cases in my room just in case. If you don't have any cases, I'd say just use an old game case that was for a gameboy or comething.

Thought about a wii but dont think im going to go that route. And i was wondering if i got a PSP what kind of games are the best? Im trying to find a library of games that would justify me buying one. Like i know about the new MGS and i know that some games like resistance are on the psp but i have no idea how the shooters go on the psp, anywys thanks.

Since I live in Europa and have a PAL PSP I now have problems playing. When I switch to my US account and start the game it says that I can't play it in this region. Level 4 Posts: 321 Group: Members Member #4,650 Joined: Jan 11, 2012	This may be a little late, but for MyPersona the difference between the 1000, 2000, and 3000 is the 1000 is the thickiest psp available and it had a reflective screen, so it wasn't good for playing it outdoors. The psp 2000 was actually a reduced size which equals smaller system, but it also had a smaller battery and a reflective screen, so still not good for the outdoors. The 3000 however was the same size as the 2000 but came with a non-reflective screen, so it could be used outdoors. The 3000 also had a few updates that the 2000 did not have, like for the internet and online modes (don't know specifically what the updates were). Hope this helps.
