San Andreas, it added many elements to the gameplay that are still around today. Great game. I remember when I purchased this game with my mom at 14 and the EB games clerk (yeah it's been a while) read out load the entire ESRB sticker one of the most akward experiences of my life.

Level 3 Posts: 200 Group: Members Member #338 Joined: Mar 3, 2009	I first played Vice City on ps2. Its my favorite GTA game. The 80s heavy metal and hard rock on V Rock was the best. The time period was amazing. But I have never played any GTA games on the xbox. I plan to cgange that and I plan to do so with Vice City. Since San Andreas was my least favorite I decided to go with Vice City.

The great thing about the 360 isn't beating the games. I played it again recently but I just can't get into GTA games. I just like killing cops and then going onto the beach where the helicoptor and swat team comes for me. I'm thinking of Vice City Stories on PSP because it's cheap.

Edge1000 Posts: 60 Group: Members Member #1,158 Joined: Aug 17, 2009	Yep, gta vice city on ps2 is the best, still have it , i even remember when i saw the commercial for it . for about 1 1/2 i would come home and play eithar vice city, gta 3 or kh1 and i was 9 when all those games came out so i didnt care about having alot of games all 3 of those games got me hooked i love it AND VICE CITY GOT ME MORE INTO HEAVY METAL V-ROCK IS THE BEST I LISTNED TO THAT STATION EVERY TIME i lied metal but it got me more into it, srry for my bad grammar

Level 3 Posts: 200 Group: Members Member #338 Joined: Mar 3, 2009	I just bought Vice City and GTA 3, the xbox double pack. Its the original double pack without the haitian friendly changes. Theres still some pretty annoying changes though. I hate what they did with the weapons. The Ruger rifle doesnt even look real. It looks like a grey toy gun now. Also my biggest complaint is the sound. The sound effects like gun shots, cars, pedestrians and other ambient sounds are well done. But some of the radio stations and songs seem to have weak volume or lowered volume. Now I dont have a Dolby Digital sound system hooked up to the TV where I play my xbox and ps2 at. I dont own one at all. It could be that I dont have a dolby system or the developers (Rockstar*) didnt do a good job porting the game sound wise. Wave 103 seems to have its volume set low and so does the the love fist songs on VROCK and a few other VROCK songs and Im sure thers others. I know some have lower volume on flash. I dont listen to wave 103 or flash. But when I cycle through the channels or Im playing a mission where I dont have time to turn the station I have heard the volume differences. Its an annoyance. Not a great one though, just enough. Some other stations also suffer fom this weak volume problem. Kchat does as well. The Radio being screwy kind of kills the fun of a game like Vice City. Not entirely though it is a great game. But as you would expect the graphics are great. Much better then the ps2s. The ps2 version did look good but no where near the xbox version. It has better lighting, car reflections also help make it look great. real reflections and not like that fake stuff in san andreas or vice city stories or even LCS. The draw distance is much better. You can actually see down the street and shoot people from farther away now. The graphics almost cover up for the sounds shortcomings IMO. But not entirely. But I have bought a ps2 copy of Vice city just to do a volume check. I want to see if the volume is the same. also I made sure Im buying an original 2002 release game. Its complete as well for $7 free shipping. But I would say the xbox version is definitely worth buying and playing, even for a 2nd time. Matter of fact I would advise to play the xbox version your 2nd time through. Just make sure you have some good speakers or you dont mind playing with your volume. Also It could be my hearing but I dont have this problem with ps2 games and none of my other xbox games.

I've been playing it recently and I also noticed the radio station volume seems lower than the PS2 version. I've been able to fix this a little by turning music volume up to the max and the SFX volume less than half (under the start menu-> settings).
