No-one seemed to take any notice of peoples replies. Even asked if i could just nominate myself due to lack of interest and lack of mod/admin repies, but again these went unheard. I think it would be good to have a few of them though.

Speaking for myself, i think to think i have reasonably good knowledge of quite a few formats, but if you asked me about neogeo or turbo grafx i wouldnt really be that helpful. Though i would try and find out, it would bother me otherwise haha.

My systems include N64, PS1, NES, C64, GameBoy, Gameboy Color, Gameboy Advanced, and Genesis. I have less than 100 posts, but I can make a ton of good posts in a day, my record is 150 in a day on another website. I am currently a moderator at Vizzed.com, a retro gaming community forum, where I have 6040 posts, I own my own website, Gamature, another retro gaming community forum. I am 13, surprisingly, I have above average grammar for 13 year olds, nay almost all teenagers. If not Retro Guru, I would like to be a Wii Guru. I have over 50 Wii games, and I know most things that happen with Nintendo.

There were a lot of questions asked, lots of maybe's, lots of "if this...if that" etc...but no one really said they wanted to be considered for the role. So if we get a small list together, reckon you guys could find a sec to talk it out and decide? probably the fairest way.

One mind cant possibly cover 40yrs worth of arcade cabs, pinball machines, games consoles and all the re-releases inbetween. Luckily, most people here that are interested in retro games are mainly into the consoles. The members interested in more specific topics are usually already pretty clued up, stuff like cabs and MAME etc. I think the slow amount of traffic in the retro section is the reason for having only one guru though. Hopefully we can get it more active and need a 2nd guru.
