I remember the PS2 era for racing games, particularly tuner games (like Need For Speed Underground, Midnight Club etc). That and crime games (San Andreas FTW!). But none of these games were exclusive, so for exclusive games i'd have to go with platformers. There's way too many good platformers on the PS2. |

Rpgs are a good choice, but Survival Horror games were also up there. |

Definately RPG games with the PS1 PS2 had some great ones but I'd remember it more for fighting games, maybe thats just me |

I'm right there with you. I love my RPGs but, the platformers/action-adventures are my favorites of the system. |

When you think PS1 and PS2, I think RPGs =) Not just because thats my favourite genre, but because the consoles stand out for RPGs. Whenever people talk about the golden age of RPGs the SNES and the PS1 era are right up there with some of the best games. FFVII, VIII and IX, Xenogears (I still need to import a copy of this), Vagrant Story, Final Fantasy Tactics and a lot more |
