PS1: Einhander, DoDonPachi, Raiden DX, R-Type Delta. PS2: Gradius V, R-Type Final, ESPgaluda, Raiden III, Castle of Shikigami 2. Those are just a few.

Jak and Daxter, Rachet and Clank, Sly Cooper, just to name the most well known platformer series for PS2. And of course, the PS1 with Croc, Spyro, and Crash.

Posts: 1,377 Group: Moderator Member #476 Joined: Mar 29, 2009	Platformers and RPG IMO. The ps2 had a lot of great platformers like, Ratchet and Clank, Jack and Dexter..ect. And also had some great RPG's Lost Odyessy, Final Fantasy 10 and 12. The Ps1 is virtually the same it had Platformers Kloana, Spyro, Crash. While the RPG's were Fianl fantasy 7, 8, 9, 10, Tatics....ect.

Level 3 Posts: 200 Group: Members Member #338 Joined: Mar 3, 2009	I voted action/adventure. Heres why. Sure the ps1 and ps2 had a ton of RPGs, the thing is that they were all crappy JRPGs. No good western RPGs. Also I would have picked FPS but the ps2 also lacked them. It had good ones, but only a few. But it does have God of War which is a very good game and so is shadow of the colossus.
