Support the forum you use and allow ads is what I say. It takes a lot of time and effort from a lot of people (or a few dedicated individuals from what I've seen on this particular forum) so why should the owners/moderators have to pay to keep it ad free for everyones enjoyment, of course it would be nice to avoid ads completely, but if a few ads dotted about the place secure the future of the forum and allow it to be free for everyone (apart from Pete with his domain costs) then allow ads I say, it isn't that much of an issue is it ?

Ads really shouldn't be what's making you go broke. It should be the game purchases that make you go broke. |

Pete, you can get webhosting for as cheap as $50 a year and install your own forum software. It's not hard. I recommend SMF. Hosting a forum doesn't have to be expensive! |

I cant believe you are " Paying as you go " or something similar to that. When I owned my own site there was an option to remove ads completely for about $19.95 for an entire year. |

The ads on this site are not as annoying or invasive as others I have been on. Some sites have annoying ads that play video and slow your computer down, make loud noises that startle you and even stall what you are doing. Myspace and IGN are the worst offenders for this, hence why I am no longer on either. The ads on this site are fine by comparrison. |

I'd actually prefer to see the money spent on videogames, so that you can talk more about in your videos. I don't really care about ads, aslong they don't pop up in the middle of the screen. |
