Call Of Duty: Black Ops Review
Hi guys, I am back from straying away from this forum & now back again.
Today, I am going to review Call of Duty: Black Ops. It's been out for a 6 months & if you have been hesistint, this may help you.
-Campaign-
One word for it. Mind-boggling. It was jaw-dropping. While it had the classic good vs bad it had a story that was a puzzle. In the begining your like.... what is going on, but after you start progressing it starts picking up in pace. -Multiplayer-
Very, very well balanced online. Its the classic CoD seller that got it famous. They stole the idea from Halo's theater mode & transformed it into there own. Now for the guns, perks, you have to unlock it, but then buy it. So, basically there is a type of currency in this installment. They also have a game mode called wager matches. It is where you bet your CoD currency & the top 3 players got a certain amount of money. -Zombies-
I <3 zombies. Just so much of a variety to it with the guns & the traps, & the hidden doors. It is a blast. It seems to never get repetitive & has tons of replay value to it. They also have a game mode called Dead Ops which is basically an arcade version of Zombies. Overall it is a hell of a time.
8.5/10 in my opinion.

New Games #3
Alright guys I am back from about 4 months away from my blog. However I have been active on the forums since late this November. Now to get to the games.
Skate 2
First off it is an improvement from the first, but it doesnt feel like a new game in a sense. It takes place in the same city and it feels like a dlc, kind of like Halo 3 ODST. However if your deciding on Skate 2 or whatever the new Tony Hawk game is out right now id pick skate 2.
Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare
This is a classic and what got the CoD series out there. Very balanced and when coming from MW2 to CoD 4 it seemed like I owned the world. Would still reccomend it. The campaign is good.
Call of Duty: World at War
This is an awesome game for sure. I think this game has the best graphics in a CoD game. Very balanced, and the guns have tons of recoil. Havent played the campaign yet.

Call of Duty Black Ops

First Impressions- Final Fantasy XIII
Here are my first impressions on one of the most anticepated games of the year.
Well first off I got to say this is not the perfect game. This game is very simplistic. First off the combat system can get repedetive quickly. It seems like your just hitting AAA or XXX. But Square enix said this is very noob friendly.
Lets get on to the plot shall we. Alright there is this paridise called Cacoon and there is this world above called Pulse. And has been called paridise til this ancient spirit of pulse origin rises and causes caos. So there are these heroes that stand up to the case defend what is basically left.
Alright now here comes the positives. The charicters are very likeable. The story is so intresting. They also have dream sequnces which are good for the back story.
Ok to sum it up. My rating is 8.8/10 so far.

First Impressions - Infinite Undiscovery
Here are my thoughts on infinite undiscovery. This is my first RPG on a console and first game that I bought buy square enix. Basically you are this kid who is trapped in a cell and this girl comes to save but she realizes that she has the wrong person. So basically you have to escape and you have this ogre chasing you.
I made it to the woods part and i keep running in circles so I get frustrated with it and have not played it since. It is an action rpg with spells and other stuff. They don't instruct this vary well they just jump you into the story without a tutorial. Overall it is fun but very non-directional.

First Impressions-Transformers ROTF
Here are my first impressions on Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen.
This new installment is definetly a major improvement from the first. The combat system works 10x better and the graphics are slightly better. Plus the story is longer than the 1st and is told better. The shooting system works exactly like a rail shooter but it is not one. There are always tons of enemy's in each level to keep things intresting. There is replay value to the game as you can play as decepticons, or the Autobots. So far the games has been pure fun with alot of action. What I have played of it, it has been a great movie action game.

So far it's a decent tps with some jetpack flying around moments.
Infinite Undiscovery [XBOX 360]
I'm about 45 minutes into it and it is a underrated JRPG exclusivly to the xbox 360. I reccomend it fans of the series or fans of Square enix.
Race Pro [XBOX 360]
This is a below par race simulater.

Here are the Recent Games I have picked up
Killzone 2
I just got Killzone 2 in the mail a couple days ago so I cant give you a deep review but I will tell my impressions of it so far. It is a very graphicaly polished fps and as a decent online community. The story is not worth the game but the online is. I have played 2 matches and it has not lagged so far. I am also an half an hour into the story and its a less decent story, but good for an fps story. So far it is worth the $30 bucks i payed for it.
Transformers: Revenge of The Fallen
Dont get mistaken by the title. This game is exellent. It has an arcade feel and an rpg kinda feel because you can earn exp after every kill. In the story you can pick 1 side Autobots or Decepticons. And you can kinda like level up your transformer that you are playing as sorta. I would check this game out if you are looking for a time waster.
Mirror's Edge
Mirror's Edge has to be one of the best platformers this console generation. You can do all this crazy stuff like run on walls and balance on ledges it's just insane. Also the combat moves are great. She can jump kick and also do punch combo's. She also has the option to run around with a gun it is just insane. It also has some puzzles in hard mode because you have to figure out where to go next. It's like that this game almost does every game genre exept for RPG. MUST OWN.
